Rebates
I was just wondering if when the 2011 trucks first came out if any rebates were available late spring early summer? I'm selling my 08 250 and getting one of the new 2011 f150's. The dealer I ordered from said their might be a small amount of rebates, but did want to say anything for sure. I'm thinking if they offered them on the new superduty they probably would on new 150's???

Shoot...there's all kinds of rebates on the 2011 F150. Your dealer must be smokin' crack.
Did you look on the ford incentive website? $2500 in bonus cash $1000 if you use Ford Credit $1000 for XLT models $500 police $500 military or $1000 cash $1000 XLT and 0% 36 month Come to think of it... your dealer MUST BE smokin' crack if he's not even willing to look it up for you. |

yeah thats for the 2010 f150 i would have been able to get 5,500 in rebates. i decided to order a 2011 because of the new engine and it has the the LCD screen like the new sds. Just wondering if you guys think will have any rebates for a brand new model year with a new engine based on what they did with the first sds.

Can you even order a 2011 F150 yet. I can't price one out on carsdirect.... no option for the MY2011.

The Costco Auto Program is basically around X-Plan pricing with pre-arranged deals. Used it in the past with mixed results. Their website, however, is nice for seeing all of the invoice pricing on the various options and you can compare that up against the "invoice" you're seeing from the dealer.
Many local volume dealers will sell at X-Plan, in my experience, even if you don't have a PIN, and its on the lot. Rebates should be a non-issue "freebie" item you don't negotiate on as they don't impact the margins the dealer is receiving anyway as they are reimbursed through Ford to the dealer. You should be able to find Invoice or at least X-Plan + rebates for what you're looking for with a little work. the Costco Auto Program just points you to participating dealers who are willing to sell accordingly. |
