To paint or NOT to paint?

I have seen some threads about painting some of the unpainted parts under the truck. Some have said they painted the drive shaft. However, the drive shaft is encased in what appears to be stainless. Is it worth painting the coupler?

Thanks!

I have thought the same thing all the cast iron parts look rusted. I have thought about getting them powder coated in black. It looks a little weird especially on my truck since it is lifted.

The driveshaft is aluminum. I would spray bomb the coupler.
