F350 DRW question....

Am I reading this right on Fords website? Your only option on a 350 dually is 3:73 rear gear withOUT limited slip?

No, you can get the 3.73 WITH limited slip! Mine is being build right now!

If you try to use the build one feature on Fords website, no matter what you pick, it will always revert back to 3:73 non-limited slip when you choose DRW?

NP. I didn't care for the build site much, it kept lagging and hanging up on me. I did get it to build a DRW with a 3.73 L Slip, but it may be because of the FX4/4X4??

Maybe I did not check the FX4 option? I don`t remember seeing it now that I think of it.......

I just tried it and it worked for me... I selected in this order.

F-350
Lariat
CrewCab
8ft bed
Diesel
3.73 Limited Slip then it makes me choose DRW....

OK, I will try it in that order. I just tried it a minute ago, and I cannot find the FX4 option? I know it is available, because I have found KR dually`s on dealer lots with the FX4 package.

Hover the mouse over the Axle section to get the box with all the axle choices. The FX4 Package will get you the 3.73 Limited Slip. The FX4 Package is in the packages section after the snowplow package.

I found it.

I was selecting an option in front of the FX4 package and it was deleting it as an option.

BTW, if you have them build one, I am guessing you can get the FX4 option without the stickers?

One last thing.......go with the KR chrome package? I think I might like the color coded running boards better?
