Current 6.7 owners, shoulda woulda?

Allright, I'm pulling the trigger on the order tomorrow.

I was having the dealer try to find me a 2010 to take advantage of the big rebates but reading on here (lots of great info all, thanks!) sounds like I will be disappointed with the mileage and a few other items with the 6.4.

So here's what I got so far:

F350 XLT CCSB 4x4 3.55 e,locker
Xlt premium package (it's got stupid chrome tip mirrors and chrome tow hooks, but that's the only way to get the LCD pro screen and a few other goodies)
Tailgate step
Rearview camera
Upfitter switches
40 console 40 arrangement

So, anyone have any regrets on their purchase? I would like to know if anyone got items they realize they should have saved the money on or the other way, wishing they had got something they didn't like remote start or rapid heat or engine idle timer etc.

So I don't understand...Are you buying the 2010? Or the 2011?

2010 is out due to what I learned

Good choice. If you would have bought the 2010, that would have haunted you for a long time.

I have everything except for the KR seats. Bought a lariat. I also chose to not get the navagation. Nuvi's are fine. I have no regrets. I did get the dual alternators and the supplemental cab heating thingy. Never had one just thought I'd like it. I also ordered the 3.31 rear end. Better MPG, so I'm told, but not by much. I honestly cannot think of anything. My truck has everything..well minus that engine idle timer????Just make sure you get the cooled seats. Thats a high priority.

Post pics when you get it. You gonna have some sleepless nights. I've had mine a month today and I still can't sleep.

I wish i had the fifth/goose prep package from the factory. Upfitter switches. I'm glad i went with the 40/60 in the front.

Mine will be the xlt, I toyed with the idea of a lariat, actually did this because I could then get the LCD pro screen and NOT have to deal with chrome mirrors, easy to say aw it's just another 2000 when your looking at 50+ grand but it is

So I am doing cloth at this point, after all it is a truck and will be used as such

So what your saying is lariats and Leather don't get used like trucks??


Mines a lariat and doesn't have chrome mirrors. Just don't order the chrome package.

Good choice... 25,000 plus miles and still getting surprised. Still learning about the goodies, I have two trailers loaded into the trailer info screen, and the tires still seem to slip a bit when I take off empty...ooops !!!

What would I have done different??? What would I have bought that I didn't??? I can't think of anything. A G.M. buddy tells me the only thing it is missing is wings.

I am not a big fan of the tailgate step, they are rust magnets on the trucks that we have with them and it is a PITA to slide stuff over the "hump".

I would have gotten the 110v inverter but other than that it's a loaded Lariat
