Lariat "Leather"

Just found out that there is little if any genuine leather in the Lariat.

Wonder why they would skimp on the leather in a $60,000+ truck

I find it a little misleading that my window sticker says "Interior - Black Leather" Not "Interior - Black Peather", "Interior - Black Faux Leather", "Interior - Black Leather looking material"

I have to admit I am disappointed in that. I don't have my truck yet and I haven't looked too close at the seats. I guess I was just assuming that it was the same leather that was in the F-150 Lariat. I am going to miss the smell. Hell my Tundra still has a nice leather smell and its 3 years old.

Can you TELL it's fake leather?

Your f-150 has fake leather too and so does your tundra. Sorry. Only King Ranches have real leather.

Ditto..... There are very few vehicles out there that are under 100k that have real leather used in them.

All chevy/dodge and fords use pleather, not real leather with the exception of the king ranch.

Agree.

I think that Ford has the toughest feeling pleather. My uncle has a 2500HD Chevy and the driver seat has a nice sized hole tore in the leather where it is so thin and wore so quickly. Looks like chit!

The King Ranch leather is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice. I'd love to be able to afford one.

The new king ranch leather seems to be different from the 07 King Ranch leather which seamed thicker.When you sat in it, it was like sitting in a big baseball glove. Maybe its just me, or has something to do with the Air conditioned seats. Either way the 011 seats still look and feel beautiful.
