A question about the ORDER timeline....

I see that a lot of folks have ordered their trucks and I was wanting some details on the process. It's been two weeks since I sat down at the computer with the inventory manager and I was wondering on what to expect next.

From what I was told at the dealership, they have submitted the order, they are awaiting allication and for Ford to assign a VIN.

Does this sound correct? They said about 4 weeks until we heard anything, then 2-4 for it to get in line for the build...

I ordered mine on the 11th of august at the dealer and it came in on the 9th of september so it didnt take that long

Could be Job 2 build, with the expected start of November from what I have been told. I have delayed mine so I can get Job 2

I thought about that too, but it appears that all the incentives for me came after the August 16th build. I am kinda hoping that I will get the monotone leather seats Vs the funky marbled middle. Not sure if the solid is standard with the A/C seats, which I ordered, or it will revert to the marbled color center???

That sounds kind of interesting.

I wish they would add the NAV radio system to the options list for XLT trucks. For some odd reason Ford doesn't think people with XLT's need or want NAV.

Thanks, did see those dates. For me I am happy to wait a bit longer as I am getting it shipped to Australia and wanted the most recent product updates.

I am not sure about the seats, I have a KR on order and havent seen a close up of the seats. Are they solid or vented for the A/C?

The manual regen is something that I thought maybe a good thing? If you are coming back into town after a long trip you could activate it before arriving (if it was roughly due) so you didnt have to shut it down half way through or keep driving

Thats what I was thinking.

It would be nice if you could have better control over the regen cycle.
