Can i lower my F350 DRW 4x4?

i spoke with a small local car shop and they said they could not lower my truck because there was no clearance with the 4x4. Is there any other way to do it or are they wrong? They have lowered other F350's but they say they were 4x2's.

why in the world would you want to lower a 1 ton 4x4 diesel?!?!?!? they are work trucks not meant to be lowriders!

different strokes.......i use it as a daily driver mostly highway and prefer the handling, cosmetic, and aerodynamic characteristics of a lowered vehicle. I went to GAW Diesel in Miami and they said i am limited to a 2" drop in the front and 3-4" in the rear due to the bump stops and suspension setup of the 4x4. Only 4x2's can be lowered more than that. It may be a heavy labor work truck from some people, but it is not the same type of work i do.

I think it will look badass lowered, i love lowered duallys. I live in Miami and GAW is a little expensive try REDS and see what they say. I saw this dually yesterday and thought it was really nice its a 2wd tho.

This is the baddest lowered F350 ive ever seen. Also try Cartel Customs they built this
F350. Its actually a 6.0 but changed everything exterior and interior to the 08-10.

i can blame that EXACT truck for me even thinking about buying a dually.....i saw the youtube videos of it. I went to Cartel and they said it couldnt be lowered cuz it was a 4x4. I had not heard of REDS. GAW gave me an estimate of around $700 to lower it by cutting a coil or 2 off the springs(there are no aftermarket lowering springs is what they said when i asked), removing half of the front bump stop, and taking a rear steel block out from under the rear leaf springs. The 24" rims, 10 lug conversion, and tires estimate wasnt bad at $6000. Tires are Falcons.....dont know about them yet. The AFE intake from GAW is also cheapest ive found....less than what they advertise. Maybe cuz im getting so much stuff they gave me a discount.
