Finally got a Powerstroke

After dealing with multiple "stealerships", I traded in my '09 HUMMER H3T for the '11 F250 at Covert Ford in Austin TX. I've loved the Ford PSD for 5 years now since I was first introduced and the timing was finally right for me to have one of my own. Didn't get everything I wanted, but got some extra stuff I didn't ask for. I'm happy regardless!

Still on the first tank and only 15X miles and she's up to 16MPG now (according to the truck). We'll see how much more I can get outta this tank!

As far as comparison to the Tundra, it's my roommates. My comparison...blows it out the water. Interior, exterior, quality EVERYTHING. The Tundra is a damn good truck though, not dissing it. It's just that Ford seems to have zeroed in and definitely got this one right.

So far I am still on my first tank and I am counting my miles as well. I want to see what it comes out to be. First tank is going to be a little skewed. Coming home I got it up to 90 on a few occasions and was doing 75-80 on highways. I just had to get the feel of it.

Oh and this is my daily vehicle. Every once in a while I will tow a gooseneck with around 10K lbs on it. Nothing this bad boy can handle. I went for overkill. Better to have more power and control than not enough.

Good to hear! I am trading my Tundra in on a 350 when it comes in!
