Scorpion TURBO

Here you go guys......

I disassembled the cartridge, and this is what i got. This thing is beautiful.

Ball bearing, single sequential compresor wheel , variable vane AND wastegated. Dual housing inlets.......the works.

yup made by Garrett, but not gonna be sold though Garrett, only though Ford so expect to get charged out the fuk!ng arse for it. With that being said "Kids dont try this at home", or your fuked.

I dont have the exhaust housing yet with the vane assembly so your not stupid, its just not in the picture. All i have is the cartridge so as soon as i get the housings ill post them too. The vane assembly is supposed to be alot different than the 6.0 stuff so stay tuned.

from what i read about vgt i thought the vanes would be on the intake side,hmmmmm interesting.definitely would love to see it.does the 6.4 not have a vgt?

negatory, they are in the exhaust side, they are computer controlled with a oil actuated selenoid. When your starting up they are closed to make like a tiny exhaust housing (the smaller the volume of the housing the quicker it spools) then as you gain speed and get into higher rpm's it gets bigger so that you also have the top end power and spool. In a nut shell.

Ill post pics of the 6.0 stuff for comparison in a little

and yes the 6.4 used vgt but they were COMPOUND borg warner turbos, with one being VGT
