Just had oil changed at Stealer

Well had dealer change the oil this time. Total was $89.95 + tax= 96.69
I think its a little out rageous for an oil change. Was gonna do it myself but after doing some research & dealer only one to have oil filter for $39.99 & by time i bought the oil i just decided to let them do it this time. I would've saved probably around $20.00 doing it myself thou... Maybe next time..

My dealer offered first oil change free. Gettin it done tomorrow. 40 bucks for a filter seems pretty high. Atleast compared to my cummins. Hopefully the amsoil Filter is out soon.

That seems pretty reasonable to me i know on my 7.3 it costs me almost 85 to do it myself then I got 15 quarts of oil to get rid of

Doesn't seem terrible to me? I pay about that for my 6.4 at a local shop, of course they do some more than just an oil change.

4 gallons of Syn Rotella and a 6.0 filter is close to $100. And that is doing it myself.

it just cost me $30 for the filter and $20 each for the four jugs of rotella, at least the neighbor kid takes my waste oil camping so i dont have to deal with it.

It's a good day if I can get out of my dealership for a 6.4 oil and filter change for less than $100.
