Test Drive...My mind has been made up

Took a 2011 6.7
F-350 CC SB Lariat today and the dealer let me take the truck to my house and hook up to my trailer and tractor to see how it towed. I loved the truck, but I am going out to sea next week so I wont be able to get the truck until i get home, but this truck is amazing. I cannot wait to get my hand on it again.

A much improved truck over my previous 1995 7.3 F-250 Diesel XL

i test drove one the other day to.... they are sweet! Heated and COOLED seats!?

Yup! Cooled seats are awesome

my only complaint about the cooled seats is that they seem to only cool the bottom of the seat. I wish it would cool the lower back of the seat. Its by back that gets sweaty not my arse. :-) Other than that AWESOME truck!

Dont know if you got your truck yet...but since you are out to sea, why not order it through USAA, and save about 9K on it. Take advantage of that mil service when you can....just saying- i will be!

I've own 5 trucks before this...inc a Chevy(POS) my most recent was 05 F250 6.0......this 6.7 is the BEST truck I've ever own hands down,everything about it is awesome. I know the smart thing to do prob wait a year or two...but after a extened reserch and driving it I couldn't help my self and I guess I have fate in FORD
My 6.0 was great with Hypertech on it,it tows great at 60,000 mi with no issues and get good mpg(15-17 empty) But I always worry about puting so much more torque on the tranny and on the head studs.I wanted to have the truck that I can tow all I need without any mods and that way I don't have to worry about over doing the motor and tranny since its built to handle 800 lbs of tq

I wish someone had told me that before I took a test drive!!

I just happened to be driving past a Ford dealership on the way to Newby's RV to pick some parts for my 5th wheel. They had a black 250 Lariat 4x4 Crew Cab on the lot. The dealer is a good friend and knows the folks down at the Ford place. Next thing I know there's phone calls and I'm testing driving the F250 6.7. Two weeks later, I ordered a 350 from them.

Dodge Ram has cooling in the bottom and the lower back. Heated steering whell and rear seats heated too. Come on Ford keep up.
