Check Coolant Additive light

Well at around 9300 miles this lite came on dash display. I took it to dealer to find out what to do. Of course they were just as confused as i was as this was the first 2011 they had do this. I noticed in the diesel supplement manual that the coolant should be checked every 15000 miles or 600 hours. There is some test strips that are used to check the anti-corrosion properties in the coolant & if the test comes back negative your suppose to add a bottle of coolant revitalizer to boost the properties in coolant. Of course you can only add the additive 2 times during the life of the coolant then have to drain & flush & refill system.
I had to leave truck at dealer for the coolant to completely cool down so the proper test could be done according to Ford. As it turns out the test on coolant was ok.
Service advisor said the coolant lite has to be reset just like the oil life system. I told service person that i didn't see anything in manuals on how to reset the coolant warning.
Just thought i would post this as i'am sure there will be some of you that run into this like i did.

Yup... happened ta me tooo!!! You reset it on your dash display, go to maintainance, should be in there that you 'checked the coolant'.

It was about 9-9500 miles, then the battery icon came on, went to the Ford Dealer, a little lephrechaun type fellow popped out and put a voltage meter meter on my batteries, they were okay. Checked the gauge cluster, icon was gone, and so was the little lephrechaun type fellow!!! Weird... but I still had my Lucky Charms....
