integrated fifth wheel/gooseneck

Do any of you guys that have a 6.7 have the integrated fifth wheel/gooseneck? How does it work when you order? $350 plus whatever the fifthwheel and gooseneck components are? Does it seen nice and sturdy?

Have not got the truck in yet but its on order and i did opt for that package. Finally did see one in a truck the other day and looked good to me. All you have to buy is the ball from the dealer for the g/n to be complete. Dealer told me the ball package that also comes with the safety chain hook up is $290. Dont know about fifth wheel price cause i have no use for that. Im on my phone right now so it will take to long to look up the link but if u go to a thread i started called traded my 6.7 for a 6.7 there is a link in there that takes you to a video showing how the ball works.

You order the prep package when you order your truck, then you can either have your dealer order you the Ford fifth wheel or contact a local reese dealer and see what they will sell you the hitch for. My dealer would not come down to the price I wanted to pay for the hitch so I went with my local Reese dealer, got the Reese Elite 25K hitch for 1150...

Yea, when I ordered my '11 about a month ago, I had the dealer throw the hitch in for $1200 as part of the deal. I don't need a 25K hitch, 18K would be plenty, but it will be under the factory warranty and a little overkill is not a bad thing.

You could get the 18K Signature Series hitch HERE, and the 58419 Leg Kit HERE and be way ahead. $680 for the hitch and $124 for the kit, so for $804 you're good to go!!

I just ordered a ball for the gooseneck. Ford wanted $250 for ball, 2 chain loops and a bag. I just bought a replacement ball for $90.

Sweet!! Have you towed your 5er with it yet?

Is that the factory spray-in bedliner?

Nope I have not towed with it yet...Will be taking it out next weekend. Yes that is the Ford spray in bed liner. It seems as good as the one I had done aftermarket on my '05 F250.

So reese signature 18k and leg kit and replacement ball would be cheapest, but how do you hook up safety chains for a gooseneck without the factory kit? Looks good too.

I have been pondering getting the b&w for this one if I get it and using my b&w companion in the new truck too. Decision, decisions.
