My 30,000 towing load 2011 F350 Dually

Here is my load over the weekend..........

30,000+ lbs not including the weight of my 2011.......

My truck is a 2011 F350 King Ranch 4x4 Dually with 6-speed auto, 4.10's and 6.7.

I got an average of 8.2 MPG with this load.

Empty with the trailer I averaged 11.8 mpg at 78-mph, could get upwards of 17 mpg if I kept it at 64-mph.

Did well I am still going through the DEF Fluid...have filled the tank with 7.5 gallons in only 5500 miles........Ford is saying it is a break in period...

Tow Haul is ok...but manual mode works fantastic for steep grade holdbacks while in tow.

In my other post..I should be the New Voice of Ford........LOL

Enjoy!

"Come and take them". Search Molon Labe to find out where it came from

Did you change your gearing? I thought 2011's only came with 3.73's. Let me know because I'm ordering an F350 DRW.
