Operating temp on the 6.7

so i was talking with our service manager today. He said that the new interm 4 john deere motors are going to run like 40 degrees hotter than normal. this is to help with the emissions because deere is also running the dpf system instead of the diesel fluid. so i was just wondering if this is the same in the new pickups??
