Ordered 5/18- Expected Delivery 6/14

Wow, my salesman just called me today and told me the truck I ordered on May 18th is built and will be delivered around June 14th. Has anyone else received their trucks so quickly? i was expecting a 2 month wait.

Ok, now I'm really MAD. I ordered on 4/23 and still no build date, it's been 6 weeks tomorrow. My order is just an XLT reg cab. I printed your post and am marching into the dealer tomorrow.

Ordered my F350 KR Dually On 5/24 Haven't herd a thing Figuring around August.

It will be interesting to see if it actually arrives the 14th and if it is exactly what I ordered. I'll update this post as I received more info.

Ordered mine on 5/1, and it is due in next week. If you have your VIN, call Ford Marketing at 800-334-4375, get the answers from Ford directly if your dealer wont give them to you.

My dealer told me that if Ford has an open build that is the same/close to what you ordered that you can actually jump the line and get the truck more quickly. Most likely, that's what happned here. I was told 8 weeks for ordered trucks.

I saw my first 2011 diesel today at a store. Talked to the retired couple who just picked it up to pull a 5th wheel.
X-cab Lariat 350 4x4.
Holy fokken sh!t, what a beautiful truck. One solid color, not a 2 tone. Deep wine red.
They paid $48K for it.
They remote started it for me, and I am just without words! I CAN NOT believe how quiet this new engine is. Now, I love me some diesel clatter like all you guys. But I have to tell ya, it was some nice to hear it purr like a gasser. I could get used to it.
They reported the average MPG in the first 800 miles was 21 MPG. They were BEAMING with pleasure. And the nice retired lady did the driving, and she said she loves the whole truck.
You guys are going to love these trucks. Congrats.
