2011 ELD question

I notice when I lock the differential, my truck seems to have a significantly different launch. Does anybody know what else changes when the diff locks? Seems like alot more power is getting to the wheels.

You have a couple of different items; One- traction control will transfer power from one rear wheel to the other without the eld being engaged, feels like your ice skating, one side pushes, then the other. Two- Disengage traction control and you get a one wheel burn off (1961 Dodge Lancer style see sig)... engage the ELD, take traction control off and you can spin 'brodies' (Dodge Viper style see sig)!!!!

The ELD works great, forgot to disengage it, when I turned the rear tires were chattering as they were still locked up.
