First Tow with 6.7

I hooked up to my 8k+ pound 33' bumper pull and hauled it about 160 miles. I topped the tank off, reset the guages. On flat ground I was averaging 12.2 at 65 mph, once I hit the rolling hills it dropped to 10.9, still maintaining 65 on cruise control. I have checked, rechecked the lie o meter and found it to have reformed, actually spot on. Not bad...power/torque is more than adequate, the traction control is a tire saver.

i bet those numbers will get alot better once they get a delete and tune for that motor btw how is that urea junk

HA. thats great compared to what id get with my 7.3 . i think i got about 7 hauling my old dodge on a 20ft car hauler. weighed in at probably around 8k

Thats not good, i get 12mpg cruise set at 65 pulling my 30ft 5'er at 8900lbs

My 6.4 would read 7-8 mpg on the readout, which was typically over hand calculated by 1-1 1/2 mpg. The a/c seats, the stereo/juke box, handsfree features make this truck a real pleasure to work out of. It is quiet...the torque kicks in, the tranny just blip,blip, blip...it's a quiet rocket... a buddy came out all excited bout his new 2010 Z71..left depressed after riding 3 days with me, I felt bad for him. I think he felt like he was in an S-10 with leather...comparably. This truck has it all....

my mileage is picking up with more miles on it, got about 1050 on it now and dash is showing 17.3 I will hand calculate it on next fillup
