Final Drive 3:31 on SRW?

Why doesnt ford offer a 4:10 ratio from the factory?Is it cause its a 6spd now?Says only option on SRW is as high as 3:55.Can't even get a 3:73 unless you opt for DRW?Why's this?

big torque doesn't need low gears, and higher gears get you better mpg's. that my guessing.

yes i agree cutty, im thinkin that extra gear and having the transmission redesigned, that the 3.73 arent needed anymore. the way i see it, the 3.31 is the new 3.73 and 4.10 is the new 3.55.
