mpg a/c
Does not using the a/c increase MPG, with the windows up?

i dont know if not using the ac will improve the mpgs. gas engines yes thats a big one but im not sure on diesels.
i wouldnt idle a diesel that long anyway....unless the ac was running and theres stuff or people in the cab, then i dont care. but if the ac isnt working, i wouldnt be using it till its repaired to save the ac compressor. |

windows up and AC on full blast is better on MPG than leaving the windows down at highway speeds.
