397hp/765tq....wow! OH and 60% NEW parts to boot!! More or less, new engine! Do you think ford is gong to beat it, like the tow ratings? Do i see 400hp coming and 775tq????  IS this why Ford is waiting to ship new 2011's??  So they can beat it!  I betcha! Butt, i could always be wrong! LOL

Ford already released the numbers. Just a hair shy of the duramax.
however Fords tow ratings are far higher than the Dmax

yes, i know ford released there numbers...But i also heard thru the grape vine they were NOT in stone yet! They said they might increase them. Thats why i noted of why they are not shipping 2011's yet
But, hey i'm good with the ford numbers, just as long its reliable

The HP difference is negligable, could be differences in dynos.
The torque numbers are a bit more impressive. Doubt Ford will change anything on the 11's. Maybe tweak it a little for an 11.5 MY or the '12s

well thats good for the d-max it should be a great truck. but its all going to be just a wait and c how these trucks really do, as far a mpgs, power and ride. but both have great numbers. i'm gonna sit back and let someone else be the test dummy, for them. lol

Chevy always waits and posts a little more than Ford.
Now take two off the dealer lot, run them on the same dyno on the same day with the same fuel and set up. Only then will we know who's telling the truth and who's telling lies. Personally, the Dura-quack could push 600 hp and 900 fpt and I wouldn't give a shizz, I ain't buying no phucking chevrolet. Chevrolet = French word for non-hetero buttsecks.
