2011 Ford Super Duty tow specs

I hate to say it cuz I love Ford diesel pickups but it looks like the new 2011 chevy silverado has higher tow specs. The 2011 have a 20,000 lbs towing capacity and a higher payload then the F450. Also the chevy silverado and dodge rams have fully boxed chassis. Anyone know or have an idea what the 2011 Ford Super Duty tow capacities are?

I'm not what they are but you have to consider the weight difference of the GM vs. an F-450 also. I was thinking that I heard 18,500 lb. for an F-350 but not 100% on that.

so its gotten lower then the 2010 which is currently 18,800 lbs. Thats dissapointing. I read the 2011 Chevy silverado is 400lbs heavier then the previous year and the 2011 F450 is something around 600lbs lighter then the previous year.

I haven't thats why I'm asking I only know of the 2011 chevy silverado, 2011 dodge ram, and 2010 Ford Super Duty specs.

I don't know if it's lower or not, for some reason that number was stuck in my head. I can't imagine it being lower than the 2010. I know a 2010 CC LB F-450 weighs around 10,000 lbs. I'm sure someone will chime in that knows the specs.

A 2010 F-450 pickups had a max. towing capacity of 24,600#'s, the 2011 F-450 pickups carried over the 33,000# GCWR according to the order guide and weighs ~600# less...

they changed with f350 dually specs. 5th wheel towing 21600, to beat chevy

No matter the ratings...... I will always use a FORD to tow... especially over a chitty Chevy with torsion bars..... something scares me about them!!
