WAITING OR BUYING?????

So whos gonna buy a 2011 and whos gonna wait and watch? i mean were the 2008-09 motors so bad that they needed to revamp the entire truck? They sound very complex and sensitive (the motors) it kinda makes one reluctant to even modify the exhaust. its just speculation but im thinking ford is gonna get out there "Black Flag" box on these trucks. Anyone care to weigh in on this?

I will need a new pickup when I get home, so I guess I'm getting a 2011.
Can't afford to get a 6.4 and upgrade in a couple years...

i ordered

i ordered.

If they get it wrong this time, i'm kicking ford to the curb! plain and simple! And so will 1000's of others!

There is no reason to get this wrong! If they have all kinds of problems, they should have not released the truck in the first place.

The issue with replacing the 6.4 is mainly emissions not that they were so bad or anything. We have spent hours discussing regen but the fact is that most of the 6.4's have been great motors if theya re properly serviced. etc. We will see if the made in Brazil/Mexico motor will really stand up to the Superduty demands. Myself, I want the 6.7 but will wait for a year to watch the bugs work through the sytsem. Besides, my 08 6.4 is a great truck. Those of you who ordered the 2011 I hope that they are worry free and as wonderful as they sound.
