I have looked around a little with no luck but has anyone been able to or tried to change the built in backup camera to allow manual turn on while driving down the road? just thought would be nice to see behind you sometimes when those little cars try to crawl up your exhaust pipe.
You should be able to do that with a Lockpick device that you plug into the radio system. It will also unlock the navi controls while driving, and allow additional cameras to be installed...
Should be able to do it with a toggle switch.
run a hot wire to a togle switch then connect the switch to the reverse signal wire going to the radio. If the camra isnt constantly powered then you will need to run a wire from the toggle switch to the camra to power it as well.
