This is me being very particular, but have you guys experienced this or is there something wrong with one of my mirror motors?
The left power folding mirror takes a noticeably longer time to move in or out.
I noticed a piece of felt (half side is sticky) that was falling out of the mirror slot so I pulled it out without knowing what it was. Question is, have you noticed if your folding mirrors stay in sync or do they move at different speeds?
From day one my folding mirrors have been out of since. The drivers side is slower. My 2013 F-150's mirrors were perfectly timed. One would think for the extra money it costs for these rigs we would not have these little things.
My drivers side is always been about 1 second slower. Been that way since the day I got it. Bothered me a little at first but now I am just used to it.
Mine fold at different rates, no big deal. My passenger side will extend and retract fine, but the drivers side will not extend sometimes, like it gets hung up. No big deal.
Are y'all saying that they move at a different rate or that one completes the move faster than the other? I believe the driver's side mirror has a longer distance to travel which might explain why it may take longer to fold.
My passenger side doesn't fold in at all, about once very 100 folds. If I activate it a couple of times it works. I'm fixin' to pull her apart someday soon.
