With all the Rams I've seen on the road, I've seen TWO with the side bed storage since introduction. One was driving and the other was sitting on a dealerships lot. That just goes to show how much demand there is for it.
I think the in bed storage would be awesome. I could see it being great for fishing poles or to keep a couple shovels in. Seems to me to be a huge waste of space without it.

It amazes me Ford did not put a 12/110v socket in the bed. I have an ARB fridge that plugs into 12V and use it all the time going up to the cabin. I never have to use ice ever and always have cold drinks on demand, not to mention never soggy bread.
I end up having to pay someone to wire me in a plug.
The writer of this article is obviously not a truck person. We should pull the link off of here and stop giving this idiot's article any more web hits. Stay of MSN...that's where the libtards hang out when CNN isn't tickling their feathers. My guns stay where I can reach them, don't tow if you can't back up a trailer, and if you detune a 6.7 you're a communist sympathizer.
I've only ever engaged my locker when I'm stuck, or when I think I might get stuck. When I'm off-road or in deep snow, I'm not going over 25, never have, any faster than that increases the risk of damaging things.
I don't think the power supply in the bed is a good idea... However, external power would be awesome. More than a few times it would have been handy to have a spot to plug in...
I don't really need help backing a trailer... If I do, an on board computer is going to get in the way more than whatever I am trying to back around.
E-locker... Well, yah... Cant argue there.
Bed box? Would be cool, but I have a toolbox and still have more than enough room in the bed.
Manual? Meh... Could take it or leave it these days. Nothing like throwing gears around, unless you live in the modern age and have to sit in traffic after work.
After I had to add the goose neck hitch to my truck. (I know it's a option but my truck didn't have it) I had to add air bags. When I pulled my 5th wheel the back of the truck had sag. They also help with the bounce when the truck is unloaded. They really smooth out the ride. As for the side box. Looks useless. Trailer backing is as stupid an park assist. If you can't park than you shouldn't have a license. if you cant back a trailer than you shouldn't pull a trailer. I would like a quicker steering response though. Its a pain to hook up the trialer because you have to turn the wheel so far to turn the truck.
Did I see a Camera in the upper brake light(back of the cab)?I would like that for hooking up the 5ver.
And the blessed oil pressure gauge, please.for that matter, temps and pressures for all engine fluids.
And a nav system that doesn't doze off
Higher quality leather used in the interior
DEF level gauge and miles left in tank
Factory snowplow and better protection for the air intake while ploughing
Move the Window washer fluid fill from behind the hood strut
