Angry Oil Pan leaking 2012 6.7 L

I have a 2012 F250 6.7 diesel. I have an reoccurring problem with the drain plug leaking oil.
Before I go any further let me say that I must have a truck that was manufactured prior to November of 2011 as my truck has the plastic oil pan and plastic drain plug. It is my understanding that all 6.7L diesels manufactured after 11/11 have metal oil pans and metal drain plugs.
Approximately every 3 weeks I will have to replace my plastic drain plug as it will start leaking. When I mention this to the service advisors at the ford dealership that my " plastic oil pan drain plug is leaking " they tend to look at me like I was crazy for saying that a 4X4 heavy duty truck would have a plastic oil pan.
After the 3rd such leak I was advised to contact Ford Motor co. customer service directly as my dealer stated there are no recalls and no service memos or advisories for this problem. So I contacted Ford on July 1, 2014.
I spoke with an representative by the name of Wendy at FMC. I asked that Ford replace my plastic oil pan with a metal one so that I would stop having oil leaking from the O ring on the drain plug. After about 2 weeks of stalling and claiming that she could not get a hold of me, ( no voice mail, no email ). Her solution to my problem was that there were no alternative parts available and the oil pan on my truck was the only one offered. I mentioned that I have looked at other 2012 model trucks and seen that they had metal oil pans and she said that they must have been aftermarket accessories and that ford did not offer any different parts that what I currently had on my truck. I was not happy with her answer but I took it and went on my way.
Today I woke up to yet another oil leak 26 days since my last oil leak. I decided to handle the problem myself this time. I went to the parts counter and ordered a new oil pan for my truck ford part # BC3Z-6695-B pan assembly, W714962-S437 bolt ( x 15 ) and TA-31 sealant.
Ford only offers 1 oil pan for this model of truck. The original oil pan has been superceded by the obove part number that is now a METAL OIL PAN!
Now Oil Pans are not something that would were out! Why did Ford replace the plastic pan with a metal pan if there was not an issue?
Bigger problem that I have is why did Wendy with Ford Motor co. lie to me and say that there was not another upgraded part available for my truck?

if its still under warranty, take it in and tell them its leaking and demand that they fix it..
yes, you can no longer get the plastic pan due to warpage/leaking.
the Wendy person has no clue, her job is to answer the phone and tell you to keep drinking the blue oval koolaid.

SPE has a metal oil pan kit that will solve ur problem
