Crazy reverse sensors on ranch hand

Anyone else reverse sensors throw alot of false positives? I have a ranch hand rear replacement. They will go off solid when clear as day nothing is behind me. If I roll a little bit they go off and back on screaming at me.

I have noticed the rubber is all ate up around Them.

Anyone else have this problem?

I have similar problems with mine too. Sometimes they work and other times they go off on pot holes or any type of thing behind me. Now days I just ignore it and use the camera.

I have a legend full front replacement and a legend rear as well. Mine were a bit flakey before I put on the ranch hand. I haven't found a good way to test them though to start replacing them sensor by sensor.

My reverse sensors seem very reliable and accurate. Been very happy with them.

Had it happen on my '09. Replaced 2 out of 4 sensors and back to normal. These sensors are apparently very sensitive if nudged or moved without extreme caution and care or put back correctly. They're pretty pricey too from the dealership.

Does the ranch hand rear replacement use their own retainers to hold the sensors or does it use the factory ones?

I didnt install my rear bumper, which is why I ask.

Do you guys have the big white lamps on the Ranch Hand wired to a switch or to the reverse lamps?
