No offense Dan,,, but you'll see something on another truck that you like and then it happens all over again. "I put this on. I took it off. You want to buy it?" "I replaced it with this". and so on.
You're as devoted a man as I have ever seen at making a perfect truck.
It sure is sharp!
BTW, I call dibs on those headlights when/if you take them off for something bigger and better. They are great! What did they cost and who did them if you don't mind me asking?

I've always liked your truck, but I've never liked the chrome door handles - I know they come that way factory, but PTM door handles would look a lot better IMO. Looks good man, whenever I get a 6.7 I plan to follow your lead to an extent. Great job!

Surer Diesel - Did you chop your frame to make it a short bed?

Not to disagree with you but, I like the chrome door handles on his truck. He has just enough chrome to make them work well.

I like the chrome handles as well. dont get me wrong my truck has to much chrome but its cause im to lazy to take some off next project is to get the chrome off of my mirrors. but there is a nice balance where chrome is nice to have.

Thanks! Haha. I was definitely finicky with this truck, but I've reached my goal of not being preoccupied towards what to do next...

I did! Well... my trusty mechanic, Michael (username: sargar), did. 16" taken out of the frame.

And no worries, everyone doesn't have the same taste. Chrome door handles and chrome fuel doors are a big pet peeve to me. Dan's truck has a chrome theme across the whole mid-upper side profile of his truck. The fender/hood badge, the handles, the mirror lense, the Platinum badging on the bed... I mean, I see it - but I'm still not a fan of the chrome door handles.

EDIT: still a super clean truck though. I really like it! Great job again!

It can be tricky finding the right balance of chrome. I added chrome to the truck when I had polished wheels, but got rid of chrome when I switched to black wheels. I think the balance of chrome is good now. The results of having the door handles painted black would not be worth the effort for me...

They were done by PlainAnSimple here in Houston (Pasadena). Let's just say they cost more than I would like to remember...
