Should I or not? thought and input needed?

Hello to all

I have the budget set and now I need input. I am here in good old Rowlett Texas,

I have a 2010 King Ranch F-350 68000 have a aftermarket warranty for 40k Factory warranty is gone. I am the Second owner. first owner was Walt Garrison from the Cowboys. From all I can see he babied the truck. My luck is the truck is in pristine condition.

What I need to know is this a good time is I have the Ole ladies approval and want to DLP /EGR delete and looking at a Spartan Tuner.

2 things I need . a shop on my side of Dallas that is worth its weight. I would do the install myself. I just dont have the time right now.

2nd I was told I should wait till 100k before I do this. But I dont see the reason other than the aftermaket warranty and that works with any shop I go to. so dont think this is a issue. Emissions?

just wanted some thoughts or ideas on the best route. I am not looking for any extreme power just want to let the truck breath and bring the mileage up.

You might be in the wrong section, but yes go for it.

Just got rid of my 6.4. The power and increase in fuel mileage was fantastic, but not having to see the "Drive to clean exhaust filter" is priceless.

You most certainly will be prolonging the life of the motor.
