2013 Superduty 6.7

Anything to watch out for? Got mine in July, never thought to check the forums to see if others are having issues if any..

You bought a good truck. You can check any forum (Ram, GM, Ford) and find problems. But, the 6.7 is proving to be a great platform. Follow the proper maintenance schedule.

I have a 2012 with 30,000 on it and it's been a reliable, powerful, efficient truck. I am really happy. I had one CEL at 24,000 for an EGT sensor. Took to dealer (truck ran fine) and they put in a new one...no issues.

The emissions on these trucks (Ram, GM, Ford) are all similar in nature. DPF, DEF, EGR - and lots of sensors. That does make for more failure opportunities.

My truck is stock. While I like the idea of not having the DPF and regens, etc....I also like a clean truck and warranty.

Good luck!

2012 F350 CCLB 3.55 ELD with 20s. Lariat package, Chrome, FX4, Clearance Lights, Rapid Heat, Two Tone, Upfitters, HD Alternator, 5th Wheel prep, Truxedo Lo Pro Tonneau. Linex. On board air and shocker XL train horns.

THIS THING ROCKS!

I'm with this guy but I have a 2013 Lariat with all the goodies and 29k miles.

I also had a CEL light come on for an EGT around 20k miles or so. Other than that it's been very solid.

The early 2011's seemed to have more a few more issues, mostly with turbo's and specifically on the C&C models.. Some more things were tweaked in 2012 and 2013..

You can go on forums and scare yourself all day reading some threads, but as with anything, especially something as advanced and complex as the trucks are, some are just going to have issues. Just remember these people are a small fraction of the entire truck sales.
