Quick wheel offset question

Ok. About to pull the trigger on some 18x9 method nv wheels. Do I want -12 or +18 offset? Will be running a 35 12.50 nitto trail grappler with either a 2.5 level or 4" lift. Which would work best? I don't want it sticking out past the fenders much but I don't want to rub either. Thanks in advance.
