How Long Do You Make Her Wait When She's Hot an Ready???
How long do most of you wait to shut down your trucks after driving them? Going by the Owners Manual it states let the hot Turbocharged engine cool down, especially after Towing heavy loads, high speeds and so forth. I let her cool down even after a trip to fill her up for at least a minute, then 3-5 minutes or the time it takes me to smoke a cig after running her hard. I have been doing this since I had my '11 and never had any heat related issues. I wish Ford would include an EGT gauge but that's besides the point. So no gauge means I do it my way. Just curious what everyone else does?
