Snow Plow Mount Questions

I am going to be putting a Boss RT3 Mount on my 13 F-350. I have seen various ways of mounting but what does everyone recommend. Do you cut out the stock valence...or will it clear with a 2WD one? Would anyone happen to have any pictures? Thanks guys!

I cut holes in the stock 4wd valance, but then when I was plowing, it hit some snow and ripped off. I just never put it back on.

My cousin cut his valence on his truck for his Boss plow. Basically, there's two rectangular chunks cut out of the valence about 12" apart. Seems to work well when the plow's on but in the offseason, looks dumb if you didn't know there was a plow there during the winter.

Second on how it looks like crap when the plow is disconnected.

My old boss has an 11' with a western plow. When we put the mount on the truck we just took it off. Plowin with a truck tends to rip low hanging things off and that chunk of plastic couldn't get much lower.

Just take off the valance, I think trucks with the cut outs look trashy.

That's the valance that ripped off while plowing. You can see how the pockets they cut out while installing the plow mounts look.

Does anyone have any pictures of the plow installed??

Also I'm wondering what all hangs off the truck for the world to see in the summer when the plow is in storage.

Basically if you take the brackets off all you will see is the crossmember and the mounting frames for the brackets like this:
You won't see the two front pieces if you take them off, the upper part is behind the bumper. I believe this is a dodge frame but the front is identical.

I actually saw a truck today that had a hole in the valance that only fit the brackets, wasn't cut all the way down. It looked pretty decent compared to the butcher jobs some of these install clowns do.
