Synthetic From Front to Back?

How many of you use synthetic fluids from front to back? I can absolutely see the reason for synthetic engine oil. Pro or con for the tranny and differential? I tow a 10,000lb 5er a couple times per month, but not on really steep grades such as in the West.

Better protection, reduced friction, extended service life, and mileage increase's.... yup no brainer.

97 F350 CC DRW 5spd SBC clutch, Swamps tunes, 3" DP 4" straight, Irate stainless bellows, WW2, Amsoil 4510 CAI, Autometer Gauges, Amsoil fluids throughout.

To do list: Plumb SD IC, Full Force Stage 1's, and some different tunes!

I just dont think the pay back factor is there when you look at the price of some of this stuff.
Better protection? Well ya I guess you could argue that but I can also argue the point that alot of big trucks ran ALOT of miles on plain ole Dino oil

High quality synthetic products by most major brands are a good idea. Don't do it with the idea of increased mileage. It simply will reduce wear and heat for longevity of the component involved.

Yes a lot of equipment has been run a lot of hours and miles with conventional (Dino) oil but in most cases synthetics will always be better.

ford ATF for these trucks is ALREADY synthetic. as far as the axle lube, I can't tell you. There "may" be 1-2 ATF's that their manufacturer claims is "ok" but none that are Ford approved. Wanna take a chance on voiding your warranty on 5-8k for a new tranny by using an unapproved fluid. yes? go buy a lottery ticket at same time No? me neither
