Just did my fuel, air, and oil filters today.
Not that big of a job.
When I unscrewed DFCM, I had diesel continue to drip out of the lines until I put the new filter in and put it back together. I was under the impression that once the DFCM was drained, there was an anti-siphon valve in place to prevent the tank from draining. Although the DFCM is higher than the tank so I don't know how it could drain.
I did fill the tank up just prior to changing the filter so maybe my fuel level was higher than the DFCM????
Or was that just residue fuel in the fuel system draining out?
