Rigid bar or KC Lights up front?

I need more light!!! So I'm trying to decide between a Rigid light bar or 4 KC Lights. I'm looking for down the road light and I'm not sure if the Rigid bar will go out far enough. I have two Dually 2's on the truck now and I'm not real impressed. I guess I'm looking for thoughts and opinions please.

Check out digidiodes.com. Another member told us about them a while back, they sell the led light bars for a fraction of what rigid sells them for. They also have a YouTube video of them trashing their lights and they still work.

call holders diesel. They sell Totron LED light bars.

Here is a post straight from Eric

We have become dealers of these bars, and have been trying a 30" and 20" bar. these things are stupid bright.

I can get anything on Totron's site, but will most likely keep the Dual Row CREE Bars in stock along with duallys.

40" Dual Row CREE-$450
30" Dual Row CREE-$350
20" Dual Row CREE-$250
10" Dual Row CREE-$150
6" Dual Row CREE-$110
Duallys-$110 a pair

I will be getting a light in soon that's comparable to the Dually D2 that I will post when it's available.

Thinking about getting rid of the stock 6.7 turbo?
Check this out... and research before buying

Elkton, MD? I grew up there.

Which KC lights are you thinking about? I had three of their 57 Series off road lights (167k candlepower) in the center hole of my bumper and replaced them with a 20" Rigid E-Series light bar. The Rigid bar is easily twice as bright.

I was looking at the Daylighter long range lights. I want something that will throw the light down road. Will the Rigid bar throw it as far as the daylighters?

i would also look into buldog LED light bars... they are made in the USA not just built here like the rest that claim to be made in the USA... http://stealth-automotive.com/index....ategory_id=527

It'll be close, but a round HID light will typically have more throw than a LED light. I can't imagine needing more throw than what I get from my Rigid unless I started desert racing or pre-running.

Well Snake I'm sure that you remember from Elkton all of the back country roads around here. Lots of critters that like to wonder out in your pathway late at night. Lol. I want to see them before they see me. Lol

Get a Vision X lightbar. They use up to 10 watt LEDs in their lights. They're way brighter than Ridgid.
