Fill up with Diesel, fuel pours out

Every single time I fill my truck up it sprays out diesel from the filler neck all down the side of the bed when the pump shuts off automatically. I have to listen to when it is getting close to being full and stop or slow the pump to eliminate this from happening. Anyone else have this problem?

One time, if foamed up and spilt a little. The filler neck must be really short, cause once it clicks off, you can only get $.50 more in it...

I always get diesel on the side of my truck. It sucks. Only on my 6.7. 6.4 and 6.0 never did that to me...

If your using the little latch on the pump handle use the slowest setting. Takes a min or two longer but no fuel spill.

Shove the fuel pump nozzle in as far as you can get it so hopefully it will shut off just a hair faster. These trucks ahve a great vent system that allows for very fast fillups and as stated above, you can only add a bit more diesel before it tries to overflow. Id rather have this problem than need to put another 4 gal in the truck over 5 minutes like on my old truck.

It's just because diesel foams so bad. If you leave it on auto fillup it will happen everytime, especially if you're at the semi truck pumps.
