I would have put an line fuse on it. I read where some people had problems with water entering the LED's and shorting out the frame and blowing the fuse for their lights. I would rather blow a fuse for the license plate frame then take the chance on blowing fuse on the truck lights, especially late at night. I was also looking at one of frames, I have been un decided on it because of the UV issues on the lens and poor sealing of the electronics. However I still may try it, because it is inexpensive.
