Changing all my fluids...

I spend way too much time researching all the best differential covers for my Ford, and ended up expanding the research to include the best gear oil, which eventually lead me to these two sites, as well as a long discussion with a distributor. As it turned out, all the old school Porsche nuts use this as well and I used it for my Porsche as too. If you read through the second site, youíll find that Amsoil is the overall best product, and they have an array of fluids, all top quality product in which you will not find at any local automotive shops. They make a specific engine oil for diesels as well as high quality filtration systems that far exceed the most stringent manufacturers particulate filtration requirements. Something many of you will like, is, due to the high quality and the fact that their oils donít break down as quickly as most, they have extended use customers (a lot of industrial and fleet users) that run 15,000 miles between oil changes with better results than factory oils and 5,000 interval changes.

On the flip side, I found this study, indicating Amsoil isn't as great of a product, but is when it comes to the 6.7.

Anyway, I went overboard and plan on replacing all my fluids with Amsoil, including using their oil filter...
BTW, I ended up with the mag-hytec cover.
I'm not affiliated with this company or product...

I would hate to be paying for that.

Amsoil is good stuff though. How many miles are on your truck and why are did you decide to do everything?

So with 6.7's you don't have to run a motorcraft oil filter because it external and no a cartridge any more. I know the 6.0 and 6.4 they were patented and aftermarket filters didn't filter properly.
