Getting 11' F350 Dually, what to do about tires!?!?

I'm taking delivery on Friday. 2011 F350 4x4 Crew Cab Dually blk/blk loaded. I love everything except the 245 tires. However, I have a really hard time parting with $1,200-$1,500 on a new set of 265 or 285 and then spacers!! What to do?!??!

Run em until you can't run em any longer. Then you'll have to justify the cost for new tires. There's a guy on here that put some 22.5 Alcoa's on his dually and it looks amazing.

If you do try and sell em right off the bat, don't expect to get too much money from em. I just bought all 7 245/75-17's off a 2011 Chevy Dually for $700.

PS Congrats on the new truck. You're gonna love it. Post up some pics when you get it.

I have the alcoas on mine and love them. They are pricey but should last a very long time. I kept my stocks because I figured my next truck was surely be a dually and I can throw my stocks back on and put the alcoas on the next one. In the long run, if I do get 200k out of these like they say, then I will actually be even or maybe even save a little money.
