Scott, I own a 2010 6.4 and love the truck.
Why did I buy it?
I needed a new truck and I got an excellent price on it on clearance.
That being said, you sound like you drive a bunch. The mileage of the new 2011 models are often beating my mileage and I have a tuner. I would buy that 2011. As for timing....sure waiting will yield you a lower price...especially as diesel prices go back up, but the guys who own 2011 6.7s have nothing but great things to say about them.
If you can swing it, buy that 6.7. I wish I could afford it. (A new 2011 equipped like mine would be over a 14k difference in initial purchase price (rebates on 2010s were excellent).
