Drove an 08

Test drove a 08 F250 CC 4x4 today, and WOW. Ford did a good job on the fit and finish as usual. Drove it a while, no turbo lag from a stop light, lots of power and no whistle from the turbos. Extremely quite in the cab drive in town and on the highway. Interior is just like our 04 F150 CC lariat. Dash laid out in a nice manner. Built XM available, cup holders a little low from the previous year model. The ride was very smooth, rear leaf spring have been extended 8 inches toward the center of the truck according to the sales rep. Engine compartment is very full with all the new engine components, Enagine very very quite standing next to it while idling. If this engine is bullet proof the truck will be one to keep. I look forward to test driving a F350 like I have now to see if I will get one.

(Napoleon Dynamite voice) LUCKEEEE!!!!

I've been quietly waiting for my local dealership to call me when the F-450 gets in that's on order. The last check reveiled that it was in storage at the factory....playing the waiting game!!!

I think I'll go up to the dealership on Monday to see what's going on....better yet ... I'll go up there today while I'm out and visually see if it's in.

There is no way in the world I'll be able to buy it, but they are convinced that they can finance me...(hehehe). Can't wait!

There is a white F450 sitting on the lot @ the Kokomo, IN dealer with everything but the automatic bug zapper. Or at least it looked like it, did not spend a whole lot of time outside @ 7 degrees with a 15 mph wind

No pics since I was only test driving it. It the Pueblo Gold with black stripe on the bottom of the truck. the tail gate didn't have the step built into it since the Sales manager said Ford didn't have enough of the tail gates to fill all the orders. While driving I couldn't tell the difference in the cab noise compared to my wife 04 F150 she had. I am wondering if they will redesign the front grill in a couple of years, this looks ok but a little boxxy for me.
