I got about $10.7k off the msrp in Louisiana about a month and a half ago. It seemed that the more expensive the truck was the bigger the discount was. ie. 55k truck was $9.2k off and 60k truck was $10.7k off. Good luck

If you live in Oregon. Otherwise you pay the taxes in the State you live in. However that does give me an idea. My Dad just transferred the title and ownership to his townhouse in Bend into my name. My next buy will be purchased and tagged in Oregon.

I keep debating starting a service to help people buy cars... you know charge like $1000 or $1500 and definately make it worth their while....

I was in the car business for the longest time and I know all the tricks of the trade and I know when the dealer is Bullschitting you and what not... I know trade values and what is fare and so on... it would be well worth it if people would be willing to spend the money

Guessing by his location Texas. Planet ford in Spring TX. is just above Houston. They are a big volume dealer. I got a better price from them over the phone and internet, but I had a trade and dealer 350 miles closer was pretty close to the deal so didn't think it was worth the drive.
