Looks like I feel victim to the radiator gremlins as well. Last few days there's been a puddle under the truck, thought it was just water from running the AC/cold air, but today when I felt the puddle it was slick like freeze. FML.
So, I have a question, I am at 89K, and have an extended warranty that says it covers the Radiator if that's what is broke minus 100.00 deductible.
My question is more about the body mounts, as we have proven that is what leads to the radiators going. Anyone have a shop install them? The daystar ones are on Rockauto and actually 5% off right now and already cheap, but what's the total labor time on m9ount installs? Anyone have a book that can let me know?
Labor at the shop I use is 90 but they only charge me "True" labor, and I get 10-15% off for working around the corner. But if I am going to get a new radiator I would assume my mounts are bad. And being I only have 15K left on my extended warranty I would like the next radiator to last.
Thanks for all the help.
EDIT: Just realized that the Rock Auto Pricing is for 1 mount, Crew cabs have 6 correct?
