Well gang I took a leap and bought a 6.4...now I have questions

The truck has 133k and it running fine. just brought it home but am concerned any issues these things are prone to fail and give me big issues like the EGR stuff...so what do i need to address to make it bullet proof...

i get the DPF. i know they make a delete kit which goes inline with the factory exhaust i assume. is there any real advantage to an aftermarket turbo back exhaust system versus just the delete?

personal preference.

bare minimum delete vs faster spool and better performance.

obviously i have too address the egr but does the oil cooler need to be addressed in these 6.4s?

depending on the tuner you can monitor oil tenps and it will determine the necessity for an oil cooler. often times a proper flush will remedy an ailing oil cooler.
