dpf removable

I have a 2009 f250 and currently not running any sort of programmer in it and not going to because I don't want to do spend the money unless necessary so I was wondering if I could remove the dpf Without having a programmer to increase fuel mileage and I like the sound with it off

No you can not.....You need a programmer in order to remove the DPF.

Without an off road tuner your truck will go into limp mode with the emissions gone and the computer not reprogrammed to compensate.

You will need an off-road tuner capable of deleting the DPF function. Failure to turn off the DPF will result in uncontrolled regeneration - ie. your engine will start to make oil and also go into limp mode. Eventually this will lead to all kinds of other things such as pump and bearing failures etc...
