Thanks everyone!

I've been running PS Diesel Kleen (white bottle for the cold weather) and haven't had any issues. I didn't think you could make these engines any quieter, but this stuff sure did.

I might try some Opti Lube, but the PS was local...

Thanks again!

I ran that till around 10 degree's and had it gell up on me. So no more 2-stroke till winters over. I don't believe 2-stroke has any anti gelling properties to it. Just high sulfer content for lubrication of the hpop. Please correct me if I'm wrong. But don't blame the 2-stroke oil the next time you gell up.

Yea it has no anti gelling properties, but it does freeze at a much lower temp than diesel fuel, so Im guessing it can only help??? Havent had any problems with #1 gelling around here yet and its been 0 to -20 or so for about 1.5 weeks, fingers crossed. After this tank I will probably switch over to power service though, just to be on the safe side.

#1 isn't even an option on 6.4s, I don't think.

Really?? I guess I may sound dumb but what is thereal difference between #1 and #2 diesel. I know #1 is dryer and has a lower freezing point. There are only a few stations around here that carry it, besides the truck stops. IT costs about 15 cents more a gallon.

Sulfur content I think #1 would plug a DPF.

I cant even find #1 if i tried around here in oklahoma. I used Diesel Kleen. I saw in diesel power the other day that RBP is making fuel additives now. I bet that stuff is like pooring gold into your tank compared to how much there other products cost.
