I think you miss read as to what they where talking about. From what i have heard every one loves the phalanx tuner even people who have sct tunners. It offers a whole lot more functionality as far as reading sensors and other things. What they meant was that why would Matt switch to sct when he has a tunner that is much more superior

True. My understanding is that Spartan is ALREADY an SCT customer. They wouldn't switch, they'd just offer their tunes on an SCT in addition to their tunes on a dashdaq.

I agree since i am guessing he uses the SCT for his custom 6.0 tunning.

I see your point, but it will give customers more choice. I have the DD and love it. Some people don't use thier DD and put in the closet. They may prefer regular gauges. An Xcal would be perfect for those people and cost them a less money. Livewire users can upload his tunes and not have to buy a new unit if they like. It would be a cheaper method of getting his tunes out there.

he does use it for his 6.0 tuning and only his 6.0.. i doubt he will ever go to the sct way of tuning with 6.4 since he has his own software that already works and is far more superior than sct
