Rear view mirror

I'm the kinda guy that tries to fix one thing I rhen mess something else up, gets the wife mad because that means spending more money. My rear view mirror was not attached to the window bracket correctly, while trying to reattach it the mirror came off the knuckle. I can not get it back on to save my life or pocket book. What I'm looking for is an idea how to press it back on, or source a new used one. Truck is an 08 F250 SD KR, with the LCD in the mirror. Any help I with idea or some place that would have a used one. Tried ebay not much luck.. Thanks every one, I learn a lot about my truck from everyone out in powerstroke

if its the knuckle on the window then find a donor mirror, cut both mirrors in the middle of the black bar that attaches them to the window. take a piece of .750 id material of your choice and use as a sleeve with your choice of glue to hold the two pieces together and you have fixed a 900 dollar rear view mirror

man that sucks, mine was on the windshield side. i thought about still getting a donor one and pulling the metal and ball out of the donor and somehow attaching it to the lcd mirror. whether tapping into or gluing where the gray pop metal is on the back. or go with an aftermarket one
